Since 1999 Nashira Hardmetals has specialised in the production of carbide components and semi-finished products. Nashira Hardmetals’ strength is based on a flexible organisation capable of both large standardised production runs as rough or ground bars, and samples on exclusive projects.
NEEDS
The sales department spent a lot of time defining offers for its customers. Every time the salesman requested information from the management or technical department, it generated a major MUDA: waiting.
GOAL
Optimise the quotation process and reduce the high time taken to define and realise quotations for customers due to excessively long waits.

By analysing real data acquired from production processes and economic data, Nashira has achieved a highly accurate and reliable quotation method. The same method is able to adapt quickly and effectively to changing economic and market conditions.
As a result of these initiatives, the average time required to process quotations has been significantly reduced, allowing us to respond to customers in half the previous time and generating a high degree of customer satisfaction.
Redlab implemented a costing tool that made the quotation process efficient and effective, greatly reducing wasted waiting time and increasing customer satisfaction.
We chose them because of their approach of involving their consultants in the execution of the project: the Redlab team worked alongside our collaborators, indicating the strategy to be followed and analysing the available data to find simple and scalable solutions.
They were able to maximise the utilisation of the company's resources, exploiting their full potential and optimising the workflow for the creation of quotes.
